As life does not give itself to one who tries to keep all of its advantages at once, wherein lies fulfilment? In place of good and bad, discern, rather, balance and imbalance, and strive for balance. Balance may be moderation; it is never mediocrity. The trick to finding and to keeping your balance is to know where you lost it. To achieve balance, you must seek and surrender to the equilibrium within the space in which you find yourself, or the space through which you moves. Balance is spatial, contextual; even spatio-temporal, when involving movement. Denial always provokes imbalance.
