Survival may be attributed to good fortune or to grace. Neither is random in its blessing, but often seekers of good fortune go to any length necessary to coerce, to contrive, to conjure serendipitous outcome. Rather than availing themselves of destined favour in its good time, they, as it were, bargain with the Devil.  Grace is granted by Destiny, by Fate, by Celestial Mandate. That which is yours, is yours; that which is not, is not. Generally, it seems, everyone gets precisely what he or she deserves, both good and bad. Be that a blessed or a harsh reality, for me, a vast surrender is my only strength. My survival has been though grace.
