The Cards

To me, the cards suggest that strength and fulfilment lie first in the surrender to folly, and then in the conscientious compromise of your steadfast principles. This is not a disavowal of character, but a repudiation of vanity. The suggestion I feel is that allegiance to constraints not originating from your instinctive, intuitive wellspring of inspiration and motivation are misguided at best, fear-born at worst. Fear can never be trusted. It is illusory. Balance lies between freedom and responsibility, between magic and truth.
