Oh…what you could be if you stopped being
who you were! The most courageous act is
to think for yourself – aloud – to disembroil
yourself from the ravelled, choking maze of
caution. You could be brilliant, but cowardice
extinguishes brilliance. You could be truthful,
but cowardice mutes the voice of candour.
You could be self-sacrificing, but cowardice
refuses to act. Choose to be now or then.
Appear as you wish to be. Be as you would
like to appear. Better to be hated for who you
are than loved for who you are not. The poison
you favour, your fated elixir, will determine
your metamorphosis. For what are you waiting?
