Osculation

A kiss on the forehead relieves the sorrow and distress of a troubled mind.

A kiss at the corners of the eyes comforts the hurting heart, cooling the burning tears.

A kiss on the cheek reassures that all is well – as it should be, despite and still.

A kiss on the lips – held there, lingering, sharing breath, bodies pressed together,

giving all the strength you have – says I am not going to let you fall, I will never make

you cry, I will hold on ’til the fear is gone, I will love and protect you ’til I die.
