Outside

I gamble only with my life. One who is truly great reminds you of no one. Though I do not aspire to greatness, necessarily, I desire to be the best that I can can be, in alignment with my destiny. That demands that I possess a feeling for beauty, the courage to take risks, the discipline to tell the truth, the capacity for sacrifice. These virtues render me vulnerable, to be sure. I am sometimes sabotaged, often wounded, but never defeated. In this, I achieve invincibility. Freedom is never given; it must be taken.
